Kerr frequency combs – from models to experiments and back

Organizers of this minisymposium are

Kerr frequency combs have recently received a lot of attention in nonlinear optics – both from an experimental as well as from a theoretical point of view. Numerous researchers in physics, mathematics and engineering are working to advance the theoretical understanding and the practical usability. The research topics include e.g., modelling aspects, bright and dark solitons, soliton formation, dynamic stability, bifurcation analysis, time integration, and applications in metrology and high-speed data transmission. The goal of the minisymposium is to provide a platform for mathematicians, physicists and engineers to exchange their most recent results and ideas.
