Stability of solitary waves

Organizer of this minisymposium is

The main theme of the symposium will be the existence and stability of solitary waves, arising in various Hamiltonian systems. We expect most talks to concentrate on the orbital and spectral stability of waves arising in classical models such as NLS, Klein-Gordon, KdV type models, short pulse/Ostrovsky etc, both in the whole space and periodic settings.
In addition, we expect contributions on the Dirac equations, PT symmetric systems as well as results about existence/stability of waves in spatially discrete systems. Finally, asymptotic stability results and results about instability by blow-up will be also of interest, and we certainly expect to hear on recent exciting developments in these directions.
