Spectral and dispersive properties of quantum Hamiltonians

The primary goal of this section is to bring together a small group (6-8) of mathematicians, at different stages in their career, to discuss and compare different approaches to some fundamental nonlinear dispersive equations, including Schrodinger, Dirac and wave equations, in particular wave maps. The main theme will be the combination of methods from spectral theory and harmonic analysis which has been especially fruitful in the study of quantum Hamiltonians and the corresponding propagators. The conference will offer to researchers the opportunity to exchange ideas and methods with colleagues from the numerical community and with experts in several other aspects of wave phenomena.
